That's My Desire (Mills, ASCAP) Chess 1716

Anthony Boy (Arc, BMI) Chess 1716

Chuck Berry, one of the most consistent rock and roll performers, delves into the standard catalogue and comes up with a great oldie which he revamps in his unique style and sends across in strong commercial fashion. Working against a good cha cha backdrop, Chuck chantsthe wonderful evergreen "That's My Desire" in a manner that should be strongly received by the teeners. Big side to watch closely. Flip, "Anthony Boy", has the ace betting a cute Italian flavored bouncer. Upper end in the big one.
